Terms of Service

Welcome to Paary. These terms are the agreement between you and Leadnext Solutions - FZCO, Dubai Silicon Oasis, IFZA Premises, Dubai, UAE ("we", "us") for using the Paary app and website. We've kept them as readable as we can.
1. What Paary is
Paary is an app for couples and households to track expenses, plan budgets, and settle up fairly. You enter your transactions yourself; Paary does not connect to bank accounts and is not a bank, payment service, or financial advisor. Numbers in Paary are what you and your partner typed. The app organises them, it doesn't verify them.
2. Your account
You need an account to use Paary. Keep your login to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has it. You must be at least 18. One person per account. Your partner gets their own and joins your household by invitation.
3. Households and partners
Paary is built around a shared household. When you share something in a household, your partner can see it. That's the point. What is shared and what stays personal follows the rules shown in the app. You are responsible for what you share and for inviting only people you actually want in your household. By sharing entries that mention another person, you confirm you're entitled to share them.
One thing worth knowing: what you added to the shared space stays there. Shared transactions and settlement history remain visible to the other household member even if you later leave or delete your account. The household's shared record belongs to the household. Your personal (non-shared) data leaves with you. Leaving a household, deleting your account, and exporting your data are always available to you.
4. Subscription
You need an active subscription to use the Paary app. It is a yearly subscription; the price, always including VAT, is shown at purchase, and every subscription starts with a free 7-day trial that you begin explicitly and can cancel at no cost. The trial is the full app; there is no separate free version.
One subscription covers the whole household. The member who subscribes is the billing holder; the partner uses Paary at no extra cost. If a subscription ends, the household moves to read-only: you can still see everything, export your data, settle open balances, and manage your account. You just can't add or change entries until the subscription is renewed.
Payments on this website are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Your purchase contract for the subscription is with Paddle, your invoice comes from Paddle, and the charge appears as PADDLE.NET* PAARY on your statement. If you subscribe through the Apple App Store or Google Play instead, billing and refunds for that purchase follow the store's terms.
Cancellation is possible anytime with effect for the next renewal. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. Cancel in the app's subscription screen, at Paddle, or in your store account. Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy, which honours your statutory withdrawal rights.
We may change the subscription price. A change never affects a period you've already paid for. It applies from your next renewal at the earliest, and we'll notify you in advance so you can cancel first if you disagree.
5. Fair use
Don't use Paary to break the law, to harm others, to probe or overload our systems, or to store content that isn't yours to store. We can suspend accounts that do.
6. The app and our marks
We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the Paary app. For the iOS version, that means on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as the App Store rules permit; for the Android version, on your devices per Google Play's terms. The app, its design and the Paary name and logo remain ours; your data remains yours (see below).
7. Your data
Your entries remain yours. We process them only to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export everything and delete your account at any time, in the app.
8. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep Paary running, but like every online service we can't promise zero downtime. We may improve or change features over time; if we ever discontinue a paid feature materially, we'll tell you in advance and you keep your export and refund rights.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Beyond that, we are liable for intent and gross negligence; for ordinary negligence only where an essential obligation of this agreement is breached, and then limited to typical, foreseeable damage. Paary organises the numbers you enter. Decisions you make based on them are yours.
10. Consumer rights and law
If you are a consumer in the EU, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country you live in always apply to you, whatever else these terms say. Disputes: we'd genuinely rather you write to hello@paary.app first. Most things resolve in one email.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll notify you in the app or by email before the change takes effect. If you don't agree, you can stop using Paary and cancel per section 4.
12. If you got Paary from the App Store or Google Play
These terms are between you and us, not with Apple or Google. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app, its maintenance and support, and for handling any claims about it (including product liability, legal compliance, and third-party IP claims). Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the app. If an Apple-distributed app fails to meet a warranty, you can tell Apple and they'll refund that purchase price; beyond that, Apple has no warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this section and may enforce it. You confirm you're not in an embargoed country and not on a restricted-parties list, and you'll respect any applicable third-party terms (e.g. your mobile contract) when using the app.
