Refund Policy

Your right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your Paary subscription within 14 days of purchase, without giving any reason.

Every subscription starts with a free 7-day trial, so the purchase begins on the day your paid subscription starts, not on the day you start the trial. The 14-day withdrawal period runs from that same day. If you cancel during the free trial, nothing is charged and no withdrawal is needed.

Where you bought it decides who refunds it

  • Bought on paary.app (web): your purchase contract is with Paddle, our merchant of record. Your refund is governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms alongside this policy, and Paddle executes it. The steps below apply.
  • Bought in the Apple App Store: Apple handles all refunds for App Store purchases. Request one through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Neither we nor Paddle can process App Store refunds.
  • Bought on Google Play: request the refund through Google Play; Play's refund policy applies.

How to withdraw (web purchases)

Either of these works:

  1. Email us at hello@paary.app from the address you used at checkout, stating that you withdraw from your subscription; or
  2. Contact Paddle, our merchant of record, who processed your payment. You can reply to the receipt email you received or go to paddle.net.

If you withdraw within the 14-day period, the amount you paid will be refunded to your original payment method. Refunds are executed by Paddle and typically arrive within 5–10 business days.

Renewals

Your subscription renews yearly. We (or Paddle) will send a reminder before each renewal. You can cancel a renewal at any time before it happens. Your access then simply runs until the end of the period you already paid for. One practical note: deleting the app from your phone does not cancel your subscription. Cancel in the app's subscription screen, via Paddle, or in your store account, depending on where you subscribed.

Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country you live in.
